Great party day

I had a great party today with one of my old high school friend’s mom. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Perfect fall weather. We had such a lovely time. Chatting with old friends and sipping on hot apple cider all the while the ladies played in my display checking out our fabulous fall items. I was truly enjoying myself. Then I remembered I was a work.

This.is.my.job!

I get paid (very nicely) to hang out with women on a beautiful fall afternoon and sip hot apple cider while I recommend the perfect gift for their best friend/sister/granddaughter. Yes, I am that lucky. And guess what? I get to do it all over again very soon.

New Enrollment Kit Option

Love, love, love that our Home Office announced this week that there will be a 2nd enrollment kit option. Basically the same pieces just in our Black Parisian Pop and Pink Circle Spirals pattern. Love that they are giving us a choice. Thank you Home Office!

Another amazing month in the books! August was recordbreaking for my team, but September BLEW that number out of the water! The amazing man and women on my team continue to amaze me each day!

There are so many promotions to celebrate too! I love watching team members GIVE THEMSELVES pay raises and promotions!

Now on to October. This month always promises to be so much fun because of the weekly incentives the company offers. Who doesn’t love electronics? I love to hear the team talk about going for the big prize – a new IPad2. With 500 winners each week, I imagine several of them will have a good shot of winning!

I need to get working on my own incentives. I’m also going to do weekly incentives to correspond with the company’s incentives….Time to do some shopping for the prizes. Best Buy here I come…

My why

Everyone has a why. Your why is the reason for joining a direct sales company. I have a why. Actually I have had several whys because the reason for starting with Thirty-One has changed several times in the last two years. It will continue to change as my professional and personal situation changes and evolves.

When I first joined Thirty-One, it was simply a way for me to get out of the house a couple of nights a month and earn fun money for myself (I have a mani/pedi addiction). I quickly began to grow a team. As I have promoted up thru the various levels of our Career Path my why has evolved. My why now is to help other women AND men find the kinds of success I have had so they are able to do things they want. For some, it means getting out of debt or to be able to pay cash for Christmas this year. For others, their why is similar to my original one. They just need something for themself – either a night out, their own money or just something to call their own.

There is no right or wrong why. Our amazing business opportunity, can help you achieve your why. Let me help you discover your why and then achieve your goals!

What would you do?

What would you do if you could do something and know you would never fail? Imagine how much more willing we would be to try things?

I’m a planner and a thinker. Everything I do is very deliberate and very thought out. I probably overthink things too much. I think alot of us do.

If there is one thing I hear over and over and over, it is I wish I had joined Thirty-One sooner. I’ve heard it from many of you on this board. You thought about it, talked yourself out of it, let someone else talk you out of it and in the end you give it a go. At the time it seems like a HUGE leap of faith. Looking back on it, I’m sure most of you are kicking yourself in the pants a little bit. The jump wasn’t that big after all…more of a bunny hop actually.

So if you are out there and are still in the thinking stage, I encourage you to stop thinking and follow your heart. Is God placing this opportunity in front of you for a reason?

This is one of the few times in life you can do something and not fail – if you follow the guidance and tools given to you by this company and your sponsor. Don’t let another day go by. I promise you that you will look back one day and wonder why you waited so long.

Day of reflection

Today is a day of reflection. Not only do we remember the ones who perished on this fateful day ten years ago and those that sacrificed their lives so that other can be saved, but we count our blessings and give thanks for the many freedoms we enjoy in this country.

Every day I am thankful that Thirty-One came into my life. I also feel truly blessed to have met so many incredible men and women along this journey. They are customers, hostess’, HO staff and my team. I cherish my time with my family and thanks to Thirty-One, I am able to do that.

Fall is here!

I’m so excited for fall! I love this season. Not only is it beautiful, but it is the busiest selling season of the year. There is so much going on.

I have lots of training planned for my team as well as wonderful incentives. They are excited about the chance to win GCs and even a trip!

Time to get back to work! I’ve got our local Celebrate & Connect meeting to finish planning! So excited to meet with the girls here in the area.

Open Enrollment is back!

Today has been an amazing day. Not only am I still on a high from last week’s National Conference, but today we learned that the freeze is OVER! Open enrollment begins on July 25. This is welcome news to everyone!

I’m still amazed how the home office handled our rapid growth with such grace and forethought. There are still so many big things in store for this truly blessed company. I am excited to be on the ride and to have the man and women on my team along for the ride!

The wait is over…

The wait is over! I’m so excited that the Recruiting Freeze is being lifted. Today was a wonderful day as many women were able to join my team for the first time since the beginning of February! And if that weren’t good enough, Home Office also announced that they are releasing a 2nd wave of 3100 future consultants next week!

This is great news! I’m so happy for the new consultants as well as my new team members!
