What makes a successful consultant?  Is it the one with the biggest paycheck?  By some standards – yes you could guess which consultants are the most successful by the size of their paycheck.  (And let me tell you the October paychecks were soooo far beyond my wildest dreams!)  In reality that is not it.   In order to get those big checks, a consultant must have passion for not only their product, but their business and their teams.  It all goes hand in hand.  I love this quote from Dave Ramsey.  It is so true!  If you truly have a passion for what you are doing, your customers will see and feel that passion.  This also rubs off on your team members.

Too busy?

First and foremost, I am a wife and mother.  In addition I work full-time and manage my Thirty-One business.  Thirty-One started as a hobby, but is much more that that these days.  I also volunteer and am advisor to a large organization at the University of Illinois.  I can’t tell you how many times I have been asked how I manage it all.  I get the question 3-4 times a week.  First of all it takes alot of work and alot of caffeine.  In all serious I’m not really sure how to answer.  You just do what you go to do and most importantly you have to do what you love.  I love my family and there is nothing I would not do for them.  I love Thirty-One and I love my team.  There is nothing I would not do for them.  I want others to find the same happiness and success that I have found with Thirty-One.  When you love what you do, it is not work.  The financial success, the trip I just won and the bonuses are just icing on the cake.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

I was on a Director’s only call today and was listening to all of the August team stats.   Wow!  Wow! Wow! is all I can say!  What amazing numbers for an amazing team!  It is so exciting to listen too!   I’m so excited for the 3 outstanding leaders who promoted to Director on my team!   They are such kind, caring and virtuous women!  One had almost $8K in sales that she turned in.  What that number doesn’t show is the $2K in sales she gave to 2 recruits so that they immediately qualified on joining.  What an awesome thing to do!  Those women will be off to a great start and this random act of kindness will pay it forward for her.  She will be reaping the rewards of her generous act in no time!  This company is made up of many other women just like that!  They make me want to be a better person!

Recordbreaking month!

My team had another amazing and recordbreaking month!  I still can’t believe my eyes – I feel like I’m dreaming!  The 145+ women on my team did awesome with over $112K in sales!  I couldn’t be prouder.  Plus I’m excited for the 3 women who promoted to Directors.  They are amazing women as well as leaders!  I expect our phenomonal growth and sales to continue into September!
